Arbitration in Brazil is regulated by Law 9.307/96, called the Law of Arbitration is an efficient method for resolving conflicts, contributing to the decongestion of the Judiciary.

Arbitration is an alternative to the judiciary, dominated by the autonomy of the will of the parties, which provide for simple contract or agreement that will use arbitration to resolve controversies. Because it is a private justice, is an alternative to the lengthy judicial system, but it has the same effect as conventional.
